Masuma, a participant of Sisters Circle since 2005, is the first member of her Bangladeshi family to earn a college degree. Through Sisters Circle’s school choice process, she was granted scholarships both to McDonogh School and to Goucher College.  She credits her mentor, Thanh, for her guidance and direction, and the Sisters Circle family for its long-term support as she encountered various cultural and economic challenges.  In 2014, Masuma graduated from Goucher with a double major in International Relations and Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies.  She works full-time as Resident Director, while pursuing her Masters in Public Administration, at Marist College in New York.
